Stonesfield, a picturesque village and civil parish located in Oxfordshire, lies just 5 miles north of Witney and about 10 miles northwest of Oxford. The parish extends predominantly north and northeast of the village, with the land gently rising and then sloping down towards the River Glyme at Glympton and Wootton, roughly 3 miles away to the northeast. To the south of Stonesfield, the River Evenlode skirts the parish's southern boundary.
